The Hard Drive based MP3 player have a hard drive of their own. They are generally not as small as other players, and are heavier. However, they have a large capacity of storage that more than makes up for the size.
The Micro Hard Drive MP3 players are smaller than the Hard drive based. They also have less storage space, however because they are smaller the the Hard Drive based players, they are more popular among consumers.
The Flash based MP3 player is the smallest of the MP3 players on the market. With some no bigger than the size of your thumb, they can be easily carried almost anywhere. They do however have a much smaller file capacity than the other players available.
