Most people understand that the main function of an MP3 player is to store and play audio files; in other words, MP3 players are basically for listening to music that a person has saved on the player. But, a lot of people are unaware that many MP3 players also have radio functionality.
It’s true—a great number of the MP3 players that are on the market nowadays are capable of tuning in to any FM radio station. Some even offer the ability to record the FM broadcast to MP3 format, which you can then save to your MP3 player.
MP3 players that offer this feature are usually flash-drive based because hard-drive based players have extra components that can interfere with capturing the FM signal.
