Creative ZEN WAV Review

16708_1.jpgThis very innovative MP3 player was released by Creative in the middle of 2007 and was greeted by favorable response from all regions it has been released in. It weights in at just a very light 49 grams. It can support MP3, WMA and WAV formats while the picture format is jpeg.

It features mini speakers integrated into the player itself and can also be placed in a docking station to rock your world. You are assured of up to 30 hours of music playtime if you use earphones or just a little over half this time when using the loud speakers integrated into the Zen WAV.

The rather small 1.5 inch colored screen can show pictures and videos for your enjoyment. It is also capable of recording songs direct from your CD instead of using a computer to upload songs into the Zen WAV although, you can also connect it to your computer and drag and drop several song into it from your computer. You can also record yourself or any other conversation to a certain degree of closeness and time for future playback.

You can also select from several preset radio stations to listen for news or weather reports from your local stations. The Zen WAV can also be set with three world clock times for your convenience.

The Creative Zen WAV unit comes in a two gigabyte version or four gigabyte version and can contain up to 500 MP3 and 1000 MP3 songs respectively and stored at a conservative bit rate.
